3 exercises you need in the morning to kickstart your day
Are you stiff when you get out of bed? Do you feel you have been hit by a truck? Just like your mind, your body needs to wake up as well. In this post we share 3 exercises with you that will kickstart your body for the rest of the day..
First things first
The moment you get out of bed, the first thing you do is say to yourself “This is going to be a fantastic day.”Live by this mantra and great things are going to happen for you. Before you rush off to your telephone to see the latest status update on Facebook, prepare a hot water with some lemon first. Take your time to drink it and give yourself the time to properly wake up.
Your daily morning routine
The next thing you are going to do is 3 exercises and do them back to back without any breaks. No worries, you will not need to do countless reps and some HIIT training. Your body still needs to wake up, remember..:)
Rocking
The first exercise is very simple. Go on your hands and knees and start pushing your bum towards your ankles, and come back to the start position. You will feel your hips open up. Do this 20x
Headnods
The next exercise is straight after the rocking. Stay in the start position of the rocking and bring your chin to your chest and then look up. Keep a natural curve in your lower back. Do this 20x

Knee raise with rotations
After the headnods stand up tall, one line from your ears till your ankles and bring your left knee to your right elbow whilst remaining an upright spine. Your upper body rotates slightly to touch the knee. Please do this 20 times.
So there you have it. You can do these exercises in any order. If you feel like some more exercise, then you can use any bodyweight program. If you are in need for some personal attention, send us a message and we will help you become the best version of yourself…:)
