Meet the battle rope in Ibiza

We always try to create the best group personal training sessions in Ibiza. One of the latest fitness tools that is taking every bootcamp and gym by storm is the battle rope. At The Workout Club Ibiza we have been using the battle rope for a long time now. We would love to introduce this great strength and conditioning tool. Meet the battle rope!

The Battle rope

This new training tool is just a thick rope of 10 to 15 meters long. When you anchor the rope to a steady object, you can do all kinds of exercises with it. Only dragging the 20 kg rope across the beach is an heavy task, so let alone that you start to wave it. We invite you to give it a try. You will feel muscles in your forearms you thought you never had.

Not only does the rope build strength and endurance, but it builds character and mindset as well. At The Workout Club Ibiza we strive to achieve what we call the triangle of health. We connect body, mind and energy, and we build upon those foundations to reach your ultimate fitness goals. The ropes are a great tool for that. The basic waves are harder than they look even when you do them just for 30 sec. When you are advanced you can challenge yourself with rope waves with lunges in between. And you can even make a simple exercise like the jumping jack feel like holding two 8 kg kettlebell when you perform it with the battle ropes in your hand.

The Battle rope benefits

The ropes offer a low impact workout without putting too much pressure on your joints. Your heart rate will rise during the exercises and that will make your body consume your body fat. It will improve your athletic performance and above all it is loads of fun to do it in a group personal training session.
