Do you often do push ups? Do you like to get more out of this exercise? In our personal training sessions we do a lot of push ups with the tension principles of the russian kettlebell. This is how we do it!
The Workout Club Ibiza
We do a lot of personal training sessions on Ibiza and we see that a lot of people, that includes men and women, don’t do a lot of push ups. Lets face it! Push ups will not only give you the dream physique, but when you incorporate it in a program, the push up is a beautiful exercise.
The Push Up, how it goes
Start with your palms straight under your shoulders while you are in a high plank position. Imagine a straight line from your ears to your ankles. It is very important that you stay tight like a plank. Start the descent by bending your elbows while you remain in a tight plank and push up back to the high straight plank position.
We know it is very popular to do 100 push ups really fast. It looks cool and you will find some benefit in training that way. But try now just to do 8 slow push ups while your body remains under full tension. Descend to 2 cm above the ground and push the same slow speed up. Trust me you will feel the burn and see the results by adding this push up to your training routine.
